We are seeking a skilled Abinitio-Python Developer with strong expertise in Python, PySpark, Advanced SQL, and Big Data technologies to design, develop, and optimize data processing applications. The ideal candidate will have hands‑on experience in data engineering, ETL development, cloud platforms, and large‑scale data processing environments. You will work closely with business stakeholders, architects, and cross‑functional teams to deliver scalable and high‑performance data solutions.

What You'll Do:

• Strong hands‑on experience in Ab Initio ETL Development.
• Expertise in GDE, Co>Operating System, EME, Conduct>IT, and Express>IT.
• Experience in designing, developing, and supporting complex ETL workflows and data integration solutions.
• Good understanding of Data Warehousing concepts, ETL design patterns, and performance tuning.
• Experience with Ab Initio components such as Reformat, Rollup, Scan, Join, Partition, Sort, Lookup, and Aggregation.
• Hands‑on experience with metadata management, dependency analysis, and code migration using EME.
• Strong troubleshooting and production support skills.
• Experience working with Unix/Linux shell scripting and Autosys scheduling.
• Knowledge of database technologies such as Oracle, Teradata, SQL Server, or PostgreSQL.
• Experience in building scalable data processing solutions and automation frameworks using Python.
• Hands‑on experience with Pandas, NumPy, PySpark, and data manipulation libraries.
• Knowledge of REST APIs, Flask/FastAPI, and microservices architecture.
• Experience in data ingestion, transformation, and orchestration using Python.
• Working knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines, Git, Docker, and DevOps practices.
• Experience in performance optimization and debugging of Python applications

Expertise You'll Bring:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
• 5-8 years of hands‑on experience in software development and data engineering projects.
• Strong programming expertise in Python and PySpark.
• Extensive experience working with Advanced SQL, query optimization, and database performance tuning.
• Hands‑on experience with Ab Initio ETL development and data integration processes.
• Strong knowledge of Teradata databases and large‑scale data warehousing concepts.
• Experience with Apache Spark, Hadoop ecosystem, and Big Data technologies.
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Experience with MongoDB and NoSQL database technologies.
• Working knowledge of Autosys job scheduling and production support activities.
• Familiarity with Data Lake, Data Warehouse, and modern data architecture concepts.
• Understanding of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
