Job summary

Kairostoc Consulting is seeking an experienced ABAP developer to join our SAP team in India. You will design technical solutions, develop ABAP programs, and ensure alignment with standards.

You’ll handle code, unit tests, deployments, and Production issue resolution, while researching latest SAP technologies like SAP BTP, CDS, OData, and Integration Suites. The role covers various SAP modules, data migration, and a willingness to work with US-based clients during Eastern time.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of SAP ABAP experience.
• Knowledge of CDS, OOP, Fiori/UI5 and OData.
• S/4HANA experience is a nice to have.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Consultants, Product Managers (PMs), and Customers to design technical solutions and develop ABAP programs.
• Proactive to work with technical leaders to align and ensure the proposed technical solutions meet shared requirements and standards.
• Take full responsibility for SAP development (code, unit test, deploy, resolve Production issues)
• Research and apply latest SAP Technical to projects (SAP BTP, CDS, OData, Integration Suites)
• Involve in the full module of SAP from Production, Sales, Inventory, FI/CO, etc.
• Work on data migration from SAP to Other Application
• Follow strictly SAP development guidelines
• Expand the scope of work according to business development requirements

Role Overview

The client is looking for a talented and experienced ABAP developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in ABAP Workbench Tools, ABAP dictionary, ABAP editor, function builder, and transactions, ABAP dictionary, BAPI, RFC, BDC, and Enhancements.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelors degree in information technology, or equivalent experience
• 5+ Years of SAP ABAP experience
• Technical knowledge in CDS, OOP, Fiori, UI5 and OData
• Experience in ABAP Workbench Tools, ABAP dictionary, ABAP editor, function builder, and transactions, ABAP dictionary, BAPI, RFC, BDC, Enhancements
• S/4HANA experience is a nice to have
• Nice to have hands-on experience building custom Fiori apps and UI screen design
• Having experience of working with foreign customers is a plus
• Have the ability to work independently
• Good at English is a plus
• Opportunities to experience and work in SAP latest technology (latest S4 systems, S4 public cloud, SAP BTP, Integration Suites)

Work Schedule Expectations

• This role involves working closely with U.S.-based customers.
• Candidates should be able to provide coverage during Eastern U.S. business hours (8:00 AM – 3:00 PM ET) to ensure timely support and collaboration with clients across different U.S. time zones.
