Job summary

Speed Global in Bengaluru (Karnataka, India) is seeking a mechanical design engineer to create high-quality product assemblies and components using Creo. The role requires managing the product life cycle with Windchill PLM and ensuring design decisions follow GD&T and tolerance stack-up calculations.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, meet project KPIs, and plan deliverables to meet quality and timeline requirements.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in mechanical design.
• BE Mechanical or allied branches.
• Proficient in Creo.
• Experience with PLM Windchill preferred.
• Knowledge of GD&T and tolerance stack-up calculations.
• Exposure to manufacturing environment and automobile industry preferred.

Job description

• Create high-quality product assembly and component designs and drawings using Creo.
• Have complete understanding of the full product life cycle process and stakeholders and manage the product life cycle using PLM tool-Windchill.
• Support the execution of processes like Product Design, Validation Consideration Checklist, Design Review, and use of tools such as GD&T, Tolerance Stack-Up and Creo to support high-quality design decisions and refinement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, product/project engineers to design concepts and ensure they meet project requirements.
• Meet functional Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Plan and complete the project deliverables meeting the quality and timeline requirements.

• Experience Range - 3 to 5 Years.
• Qualification - B.E Mechanical or Associated Branches.
• Early career professional.
• Experience in using Creo.
• Experience in handling PLM (Windchill preferred).
