Job summary

UST is seeking a senior DevOps/Platform Engineer to lead migrations to GitHub Enterprise and modernize CI/CD across Azure/AWS/GCP. You will orchestrate source control migrations from Perforce, Bitbucket, and SVN, implement GitHub Actions YAML workflows, and guide architecture with strong scripting in Python or Shell.

You will collaborate with engineering teams, mentor junior staff, and drive efficient, scalable release management and observability practices.

Qualifications

• 9+ years DevOps/SCM/Platform Eng experience.
• 3+ years leading GitHub Enterprise migration projects.
• Migrating Azure DevOps repos to GitHub Enterprise & GitHub Actions.
• Experience migrating from Perforce, Bitbucket, SVN.
• Strong Git internals, branching strategies, repo mgmt.
• Hands-on GitHub Actions, YAML workflows, CI/CD modernization.
• Experience with GitHub APIs & Azure DevOps REST APIs.
• Cloud knowledge: Azure, AWS or GCP.
• Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Scripting in Python or Shell.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership & stakeholder mgmt.
• Strong documentation, mentoring & technical communication.
• Able to lead architecture discussions without being a full-time dev.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong scripting skills using Python or Shell.
• Excellent problem-solving, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
