Job summary

Cephas Consultancy Services Private Limited in Pune is seeking an Observability Engineer to design, operate, and enhance our observability platform across cloud-native and hybrid environments. You will ensure reliable metrics, logs, and traces throughout the stack.

You will implement Elastic Stack, Dynatrace, and Prometheus, integrate with AWS and Azure, manage Kubernetes deployments with Helm, and embed instrumentation in CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Bamboo.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with Elastic Stack, Dynatrace, Prometheus and telemetry tools across AWS, Azure, and on-prem environments.
• Design, operate and enhance observability platform to ensure reliable metrics, logs and traces.
• Ability to integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines and collaborate with DevOps teams.

Responsibilities

• Implement and manage observability solutions using Elasticsearch/Kibana, Beats/Elastic Agent, Logstash, APM, Dynatrace, and Prometheus.
• Configure native cloud integrations for log, metric, and trace ingestion across AWS and Azure.
• Perform day-to-day platform administration: upgrades, scaling, access management, performance tuning.
• Handle onboarding requests from application and infrastructure teams, ensuring proper instrumentation.
• Develop and maintain Helm-based deployments, exporters, and Kubernetes monitoring.
• Integrate observability into CI/CD pipelines using Bitbucket and Bamboo.
• Maintain documentation, dashboards, and runbooks in Confluence.
