Job summary

EXL is seeking an experienced audit professional with 3+ years in audit and advisory, ideally from a Big 4 or leading risk advisory firm. The role focuses on SOX controls testing, ITGCs, and SAP Security reviews to ensure SOX compliance and strong control environments.

You will review audit evidence, document work-papers, and leverage industry knowledge to enhance audit outcomes across IT data center operations and varied technology platforms.

Qualifications

• At least 3+ years of audit and advisory experience, preferably with a Big 4 or leading risk advisory firm.
• Proficient in SOX controls testing, ITGCs, and application controls.
• Experience reviewing SOC Reports and auditing key reports for SOX compliance.
• Familiar with tools such as ACL, SQL queries, and UNIX scripting.
• Holds industry certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, or ISO 27001 LA.

Responsibilities

• Review audit evidences for completeness and accuracy and document work-papers.
• Perform design and operating effectiveness testing of ITGCs and application controls.
• Collaborate on SAP Security reviews including role maintenance and segregation of duties.
• Leverage industry knowledge from prior experience to strengthen audit outcomes.
• Understand IT data center operations and diverse technology platforms.

Role

• Atleast 3+ years of audit and advisory experience, preferably with a Big 4 or leading risk advisory/ public accounting firm
• Experience in performing multiple full round of internal auditing and proficient with SOX regulation. Perform Design and operating effectiveness test of ITGCs as well as application controls
• Experience reviewing SOC Reports and auditing key reports for SOX compliance
• Leverages industry knowledge from prior experience.
• Familiarity with tools such as ACL, SQL queries, UNIX scripting.
• Performs, and is responsible for, reviewing the audit evidences, validating them for completeness and accuracy and documenting the work-papers.
• A good understanding of IT data center operations and a variety of technology platforms.
• Participate/conduct SAP Security reviews of individual programs. SAP Security includes, but not limited to role maintenance activities, adherence with segregation of duties requirements, and supporting the current organization level design
• Holds industry certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, CEH, ISO 27001 LA, IA etc.
