We are looking for a Manager IT for our in-house brand Naseem Healthcare in Doha, Qatar, who is the head of organization-wide systems and information (Software, Hardware, Network, and Security) responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing Company IT policy and system management.

Your expertise will be pivotal in maintaining essential IT infrastructure, responsible for regular checks on data and network security, improvement and updates of software and systems, designing training programs for staff and doctors, overseeing and determining timeframes for major IT projects including system updates, upgrades, migrations, and outages, managing the IT spent on IT resources, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

1. APPLICATION MANAGEMENT

• Manage and supervise the organization’s software applications and communication platforms.
• Analyze overall business operations and the business’s computer systems and determine which software applications could improve efficiency.
• Make recommendations on whether to upgrade the existing systems or install new ones.
• Monitor the roll-out of new software applications to ensure there are no problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with business application software.
• Create and oversee protocols and procedures for the use of any new software applications.
• Train employees on the use of any new software applications and maintain a good work atmosphere.

1. NETWORK MANAGEMENT

• Manage network team and support every aspect of network systems and subsystems.
• Design, implement, and manage network infrastructure, including components such as switches, routers, and the installation of additional servers.
• Manage email addresses, and create passwords and backups.
• Manage service desks and address all the queries and concerns on IT Hardware systems.
• Lead teams of IT Field Staff in the implementation and upgrading of network hardware.
• Monitor the roll-out of new connections to ensure there are no problems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with network and connectivity.
• Maintain network diagrams and up-to-date knowledge of the IT networking developments.

1. SECURITY & MAINTENANCE

• Manage security of applications, systems, and databases. Maintain LAN, WLAN, and architecture of the server as per the business policy.
• Design specifications for establishing security in the networks and protecting vulnerable databases.
• As a precautionary measure, analyze and implement new security protocols for greater efficiency against any threat or malfunctions.
• Update the systems regularly with antivirus, firewall, and spyware to protect against viruses and breakdowns in the network.
• Troubleshoot and resolve any problems with network security and attacks.
• Report the security analysis of findings and investigations of security breach alerts.
• Set authentication and authorization and restrict users from accessing important and vital information.
• Maintain and implement the SOP for network security and train the users on IT security developments.

Qualifications:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or relevant stream.
• Professional Certifications: CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional), CISM (Certified Information Security Manager).
• MBA Preferred.
• Minimum of 5 years proven experience in managing group IT systems and resources.
• Expertise in implementing, configuring, and testing IT solutions.
• Knowledge of programming languages, OS, backup & recovery procedures, system performance & security monitoring.
