Job summary

ShineWoods Interiors is hiring a 2D/3D Interior Designer for immediate joining at our Coimbatore location. The role requires proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering with V-Ray/Lumion/Enscape, plus a strong grasp of modular interiors and site measurements.

You will collaborate with clients to translate requirements into detailed layouts, elevations, and realistic 3D visuals, coordinating closely with the execution team to ensure accurate implementation.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in AutoCAD for 2D drafting, detailing, and working drawings.
• Skilled in SketchUp and 3D modelling to produce accurate visuals.
• Experience with rendering tools such as V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape or D5.

Responsibilities

• Take accurate site measurements and assess site conditions independently.
• Understand and document client requirements, preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget expectations.
• Translate client requirements into functional, aesthetically pleasing designs.
• Prepare detailed 2D layouts, working drawings, elevations, sections using AutoCAD.
• Create high-quality 3D renderings with V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, D5, or similar tools.
• Develop modular interior solutions (kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage, etc.).
• Coordinate with site execution team to ensure designs are implemented accurately.
• Provide design clarifications and modifications during execution.
• Ensure designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, and cost-effective.
• Understand interior materials, modular furniture construction, and execution needs.
• Handle client design discussions and revisions professionally.

ShineWoods Interiors is looking for a talented, creative, and detail-oriented 2D / 3D Interior Designer to join our team on an immediate basis.

We are seeking candidates with strong technical knowledge in interior design, proficiency in 2D and 3D design software, and a practical understanding of modular interiors, site measurements, and design execution.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct accurate site measurements and assess site conditions independently.

Understand and document client requirements, preferences, lifestyle needs, and budget expectations.

Communicate effectively with clients and translate their requirements into functional and aesthetically pleasing designs.

Prepare detailed 2D layouts, working drawings, elevations, sections, and other technical drawings using AutoCAD.

Create high-quality and realistic 3D renderings using V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, D5, or other relevant rendering software.

Design and develop modular interior solutions, including kitchens, wardrobes, TV units, storage units, crockery units, pooja units, and other interior elements.

Coordinate closely with the site execution team to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

Provide necessary design clarifications and modifications during the execution stage.

Ensure that all designs are practical, aesthetically appealing, functional, and cost-effective.

Understand basic interior materials, modular furniture construction, hardware, and execution requirements.

Handle client design discussions, revisions, and coordination professionally.

Required Skills & Qualifications

Proficiency in AutoCAD – 2D drafting, detailing, and working drawings.

Strong working knowledge of SketchUp and 3D modelling.

Proficiency in at least one rendering software such as V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, D5, or equivalent.

Good understanding of modular interior design and materials.

Ability to independently take and interpret site measurements.

Basic knowledge of interior execution, detailing, materials, and site coordination.

Strong design sense, creativity, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills.

Good communication and client-handling skills.

Ability to coordinate effectively with clients, designers, and the execution team.

Relevant experience in interior design will be an added advantage.
