Day-to-day Responsibilities and Skills
- Single point of contact for client’s trouble tickets with respect to IT Infrastructure
- Effective transition of trouble tickets across shifts, escalation as needed
- Deep knowledge of the core hard skills enabling to perform core functions effectively
- Quick response for the customer needs
- Investigate, analyze, fix, and document permanent solutions
- Create and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templates
- Ensures end-to-end delivery of projects, and executes related tasks effectively
- Identifies risks, creates mitigation strategies and plans, and executes them in a timely manner, keeping all stakeholders informed about the progress, as well as escalating to the right levels at right times (ensuring zero surprises)
- Any other responsibilities as may be assigned from time to time
Minimum Requirements
- 1-3 Years of experience as a Technical Support Engineer and/or
- Intermediate, but strong knowledge of core technical domain (e.g. Windows, Networking, etc.)
- Zeal to learn and acquire skills
- Expected to deliver small to medium functionality independently most of the time
- Able to handle support tickets and audits as per established processes independently
- Typically paired with Engineer-3 who would be monitoring the work done and helping to reach the next level
