A local youth service organization in Limerick is seeking a Youth Work Assistant for a developmental opportunity. You will support activities and events at the Youth Café, acting as a positive role model for youth. No experience is necessary as training will be provided. Ideal candidates should have some IT knowledge and a willingness to assist with cooking duties on occasion.
Eligibility to participate on CE is generally linked to those who are 21 years or over and in receipt of a qualifying social welfare payment for 1 year or more, or 18 years and over for certain disadvantaged groups. Your eligibility will have to be verified by the Department.

This is a developmental opportunity; no experience is necessary. Accredited training will be provided to support your career.
Predominantly based in our Youth Café, you will work alongside senior Youthworkers and the youth café committee, involved in the supervision of activities, planning and organising musical and cultural events, and being a supportive and positive role model for young people who frequent the café. Some light cooking duties may be required on occasion. IT knowledge is an advantage.
