A leading facilities management company in Dublin is seeking a Supervisor to motivate onsite staff and manage client relationships. The ideal candidate has strong organizational skills and experience in retail or facilities management. You will be responsible for ensuring team efficiency and quality service delivery. This role offers €17.56 per hour with benefits, working 3 days on, 3 days off from 6pm to 6am.

Key responsibilities
  • Motivate Mitie onsite staff and foster a strong team culture.
  • Build and maintain a strong relationship with the client to anticipate changes (e.g., flight delays) and adapt the cleaning team accordingly.
  • Act as a main point of contact for reporting spillages and urgent clean-up items and deploy the team to resolve.
  • Delegate work in your area and ensure it is carried out to the required standard.
  • Maintain continuous liaison with APOC.
  • Agree and execute training needs for staff members.
  • Ensure that the location is set up for the day ahead and breaks are allocated to maximise efficiency.
  • Manage disciplinary and grievance issues with guidance from HR/Learning Partner to ensure a consistent approach.
  • Provide a safe working environment for onsite staff and promote strong QHSE awareness.
  • Conduct regular "Tool Box" talks with staff and provide feedback regarding appearance and uniform standards.
  • Treat everyone with respect.
