A vacancy has arisen for the position of Warehouse Operations Co-ordinator to work on the Dunnes Stores contract, Dublin. The position will be assigned on the AM/PM shift.
Duties and responsibilities
- Work alongside on-site customer location, to achieve planned targets and deadlines, exceeding where possible.
- Demonstrate best practice across all areas of responsibility inspiring people to engage and deliver key business results.
- Produce, explain and discuss daily/weekly KPI/ stock/production reports as required by customer
- Assist the team to allow them to grow their skills and promote development within the team and manage team performance.
- Review daily labour according to volumes of work in consultation with the Shift Manager /Operations Manager.
- Ensure all the necessary training is provided to each employee and ensuring all team members have up-to-date Individual Training Plan, which caters for a multiskilled team.
- Identify and report all operational problems to the Shift Manager on a regular basis, making recommendations for improvement.
- Analyse reports against KPI targets and advise on action to improve results.
- Ensuring all Health and Safety requirements are adhered to, with particular regard to MHE, fire precautions and near miss reporting. Escalate any H&S concerns where necessary to the H&S manager.
- Maintaining high standards of hygiene and presentation within the Warehouse.
- Must be prepared to work in any department within the Distribution Centre over any shift across various shift patterns as required, acting as a working Team Member as and when required.
- Must be prepared to operate MHE – VNA, PPT,CBT as and when required.
- Must be proficient and prepared to use and train staff on various IT systems as required e.g., AS400, Timewise, Manhattan, Blue Yonder, Oracle Cloud or any IT platform introduced to support the operation.
- Must attend and discuss operational/customer/supplier meetings as required
Experience, skills and attributes:
- Effective communication skills at all levels.
- Excellent knowledge of English (verbal/written)
- Results driven with excellent attention to detail
- Ability to provide realistic solutions/suggestions to problems or areas of improvement such as KPI’s
- Strong commercial attitude
- Excellent attitude to customer service.
- PC literate preferably with current/previous IT experience of Timewise, Manhattan, AS400 etc.
