Job summary

AtkinsRéalis Ireland seeks a highly motivated professional to lead Water Framework Directive compliance assessments and EIAR chapters. You will collaborate with environmental scientists, ecologists, engineers, and planners to deliver compliant projects across Ireland and internationally.

The role emphasizes leadership, evidence-based reporting, and proactive client engagement within a flexible, hybrid working culture with travel across Ireland.

Qualifications

• A degree in a relevant discipline and a relevant post-graduate qualification.
• Chartered with an appropriate professional body, or working towards Chartered status.
• Strong ability to undertake and review data to drive evidence-based solutions.
• Experience leading Water Framework Directive compliance assessments on varied projects.

Responsibilities

• Lead the undertaking of Water Framework Directive compliance assessments.
• Lead technical WFD chapters for EIARs.
• Support in work winning activities to secure more WFD focused work.
• Collaborate with wider Water Management Consultancy and AtkinsRéalis' specialists to ensure WFD compliance.
• Liaise with internal and external project teams to deliver best environmental outcomes for WFD compliance.
• Work with others in standardisation and automation of the WFD assessment process.
• Mentor junior staff and work within a collaborative team to deliver quality outcomes.
