Job summary

Hollybank Trustees Ltd is seeking an experienced quality/pipefitting professional to oversee production welding traceability, inspections, and documentation in a high-purity piping environment.

The role involves on-site audits, NDT coordination, and adherence to project quality plans, with emphasis on accurate weld logs, inspection reports, and turnover documentation. Reading P&IDs and Isometrics, plus IPAF/MEWP credentials, are preferred. 3–5 years' field experience is expected.

Qualifications

• Background in quality inspection highly desirable.
• Welding experience highly desirable.
• Background in pharmaceutical/semi-conductor.
• Ability to read and understand P&IDs
• Ability to read and understand Isometrics.
• Ability to use tracking software such as EIDA.
• IPAF / MEWP.
• At least 3-5 years' experience within the field.
• Must have high-purity pipefitter experience.
• Strong Communicator, written and verbal.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production welding and material traceability is recorded daily and entered to databases and verified.
• Perform welding inspections on high-purity stainless steel piping systems using the latest technologies and techniques.
• Conduct visual and dimensional inspections to ensure the integrity of all piping systems.
• Maintain accurate records of all welding activities, including weld logs, inspection reports, and other documentation.
• Follow all safety protocols and regulations, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment.
• Perform on-site Audits.
• Ensure the project-specific quality plans are implemented.
• Ensure 100% visual inspection of completed welds.
• Ensure piping Test Packs and supporting records are produced and completed to the project standard for turnover.
• Co-ordinate NDT % testing of site welding.
• Co-ordinate with the construction team system walkdown and snagging ahead of pressure testing.
• Audit and sign off weld logs and weld maps, inspection, and NDT for turnover.
