Job summary

Pudaxa Limited in Donabate, Co. Dublin, is seeking an experienced Welder for immediate start at their Turvey Lane facility. You will perform mig welds, fillet welds, read drawings and join metalwork pieces to exact specifications.

Requirements include 1-3 years of welding experience; welding certification is preferred but not essential. On-site role with 39 hours per week, annual remuneration €36,605, paid at €18.05 per hour.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Our client, Pudaxa Limited, based in Donabate, Co. Dublin, is currently seeking Welders for immediate start at their facility in Turvey Lane, Donabate, Co. Dublin, K36 P589. Qualifications:1-3 years’ of previous welding experience required. Welding Certification preferred but not essential. There are no minimum academic requirements. Further training will be provided on-the-job as required. Candidates must be able to mig weld, perform fillet welds and read drawings

• To operate welding equipment in order to join metalwork pieces together
• To use fusion welding processes based on various techniques and materials
• To perform simple visual inspection of welds
• To perform fillet welds, mig welding and to read drawings
• To wear appropriate protective gear and adhere to safety standards
• To smooth burred surfaces and recognise metal imperfections
• This role requires knowledge of welding techniques, torch temperature for metal processes, metal thermal conductivity and fuel gas
• Essential knowledge includes welding from drawings (2D and 3D), mig welding and fillet welds
• Essential skills include aligning components, joining metals and operating welding equipment, including oxy-fuel torch
• Candidates must be competent to apply arc welding techniques and precision metalworking techniques
• Candidates must be competent to ensure correct metal temperature and handle fuels
• Candidates must have experience in recognising signs of corrosion and removing inadequate workpieces
• Candidates must have experience in performing metal active gas welding and inert gas welding
• Candidates must have 1-3 years’ of relevant experience as a Welder

Annual remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour
