Job summary

Wilton Waste Recycling Limited, based in Co. Cavan, Ireland, is seeking a Welder-Fabricator for immediate start at its Crosserlough facilities. The role requires a minimum of 3 years’ welding and fabrication experience, with welding certification preferred.

You will operate welding equipment, read drawings, perform MIG/arc welding, and ensure quality and safety during metal fabrication. Candidates must be able to read plans, measure and cut metal, and work 39 hours per week at €18.05/hour

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years’ welding & fabrication experience required.
• No minimum academic requirements.
• Welding certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate welding equipment to join metalwork pieces.
• Read 2D/3D drawings to determine materials and joints.
• Perform fillet/mig welding and simple visual weld inspections.
• Wear protective gear and follow safety standards.
• Tend metal sawing machines and prepare metal parts for assembly.

Cavan, is currently seeking Welder-Fabricators for immediate start at their facilities in Co. Cavan. Qualifications: A minimum of 3 years’ welding & fabrication experience is required. There are no minimum academic requirements. Welding certification is preferred. General Duties / Responsibilities / Experience:-To operate welding equipment in order to join metalwork pieces together-To use fusion welding processes based on various techniques and materials-To perform simple visual inspection of welds -To perform fillet welds, mig welding and to read drawings-To wear appropriate protective gear and adhere to safety standards -To smooth burred surfaces and recognise metal imperfections -To use sheet metal to construct roofs, ducts for heating & vents, gutters and other metal structures -To read plans and determine type and amount of materials to be used-To measure, bend, cut, shape and attach pieces if metal to create structure required-This role requires knowledge of welding techniques, torch temperature for metal processes, metal thermal conductivity and fuel gas -Essential knowledge includes welding from drawings (2D and 3D), mig welding and fillet welds-Essential knowledge includes metal joining technologies, metal thermal conductivity, rivet types and metal types-Essential skills include aligning components, joining metals and operating welding equipment, including oxy-fuel torch-Essential skills include operation of handheld riveting equipment, interpretation of 2D & 3D plans, and tending metal sawing machine-Candidates must be competent to apply arc & spot welding techniques and precision metalworking techniques -Candidates must be competent to ensure correct metal temperature and handle fuels-Candidates must have experience in recognising signs of corrosion and removing inadequate workpieces -Candidates must have experience in performing metal active gas welding and inert gas welding -Candidates must have 3 years’ of relevant experience as a Welder-Fabricator-Welding certification preferred-Experience in a waste/recycling environment is a plus Annual Remuneration: €36,605.00; Pay rate €18.05 per hour Work Locations – Wilton Waste Recycling Limited at:-Kiffa, Crosserlough, Co.
