Company Details Confidential is seeking an experienced welder for pipe work in Ireland. You will read blueprints, select from Tig, Pipe, Mig and MMA welding methods, and prepare materials for fabrication. Emphasis on safety, quality, and teamwork to drive production efficiency.

Essentially 5 years of experience is required, with skills in manual labour and welding. Candidates should be capable of working to welding procedures and collaborating with colleagues on shop floor tasks.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings to determine welding and fitting requirements.
• Weld steel components using Tig Welding, Pipe Welding, Mig Welding, and MMA Stick Welding.
• Cut and prepare material for fabrication based on blueprints/drawings; set up welding cells for production.
• Follow, create, and help maintain welding procedures; operate machinery; assist machine operators.
• Work with team to maximise productivity and ensure safety and quality standards.

Job Description

Experienced welder required in pipe work who will be responsible for performing a variety of welding functions using steel (stainless and carbon). Responsibilities include:Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding and fitting requirements. Weld steel components based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings using the following methods: - Tig Welding - Pipe Welding - Mig Welding- MMA Stick WeldingCut and prepare material for fabricating based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings. Cut material to correct measurements. Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards. Follow, create, and help maintain welding procedures. Set up welding cells for production runs. Operate machinery used in the production process or assist machine operators. Assemble items as instructed by supervisor. Work with team members to maximize productivity and efficiency. Follow all safety rules and quality standards.
