Job summary

KIX Vaping, Ballina, Ireland, is seeking a part-time Sales Advisor to engage customers, assess needs and recommend products. The role requires weekend availability and flexibility to cover annual leave when needed.

You will build product knowledge, support visual merchandising, and contribute to accurate sales reporting in Excel while delivering a friendly shopping experience. You will work in person, standing for extended periods, with occasional lifting and flexibility across Saturdays.

Responsibilities

• Customer Interaction: Greet customers warmly and assist them in a friendly and professional manner.
• Actively listen to customers to understand their preferences and requirements; answer questions and provide detailed information.
• Sales and Revenue Generation: Achieve and exceed sales targets and quotas; promote upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of the products and services; educate customers on product specifications, usage, and care.
• Visual Merchandising: Ensure the shop is well-organised and displays are attractive; assist in creating eye-catching displays.
• Customer Service Excellence: Address complaints promptly; handle returns, exchanges, refunds per policy.
• Inventory Management: Monitor stock levels; assist with restocking and reporting discrepancies.
• Sales Reporting: Maintain accurate sales records in Excel.
• Team Collaboration: Work with colleagues to achieve goals; participate in meetings and training.
