Job summary

Boston Scientific in Galway invites applications for a Quality Technician S2 on a defined term (6 months) to join our team. The role focuses on maintaining quality systems, GMP compliance, and product conformity for the production group and related processes.

The weekend shift (Sat/Sun, 12-hour) with 39 hours total is part of the contract, and the successful candidate will work with minimum supervision, demonstrate attention to detail, and support continuous improvement activities and audits.

Qualifications

• NQF Level 6 or above in STEM discipline.
• 2 years experience as a technician within a medical field.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and take initiative.
• Strong interpersonal and organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance to regulatory standards and GMP procedures.
• Control non-conforming product and document events.
• Perform product defect analysis and support improvements.
• Assist QA, Engineering and Operations functions as needed.
• Deliver quality service to internal customers within the production group.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and support audits.
