Job summary

Unio, a leading Wealth Management and Employee Benefits business in Ireland, seeks a Paraplanner to join a growing team serving high-net-worth clients with tailored financial planning and investment advice. Role supports Private Client Advisers with meeting prep, client data analysis, and portfolio review.

The ideal candidate has 2–4 years paraplanning experience, QFA (or equivalent) and CFP progress welcomed.

Qualifications

• QFA or equivalent; satisfies Central Bank of Ireland competency requirements.
• CFP qualification or progress toward CFP is advantageous.
• Excellent data analysis and research skills.
• Strong numerical ability and high attention to detail.
• Excellent oral and written presentation and communication skills.
• Strong knowledge of Irish financial products.
• Cashflow modelling software knowledge is an advantage.
• Paraplanning experience: 2–4 years.

Responsibilities

• Ensure an uncompromising high quality client experience.
• Deliver goals-based planning with consistent advisory delivery.
• Support Private Client Advisers with pre/post meeting prep and administration.
• Manage upkeep of client files & records on the CRM system.
• Ensure client files comply with regulations in collaboration with advisers.
• Assist in new client engagements from head of segment or director to completion.
• Handle Letters of Authority, collect client data and review investments.
• Identify opportunities suitable for clients with adviser support.
• Prepare cashflow modelling and analysis with Financial Planning Team.
• Contribute to client reviews to realign investments with goals.
• Produce/collate new business quotations for the advisory team.
• Attend client meetings where appropriate.
• Act as secondary contact for clients alongside lead advisers.
• Collaborate with Wealth Management team to maintain high standards.
• Support development of process flows across Client Services and Advisors.
