Brightwater seeks a wealth management professional to build long-term client relationships and deliver tailored financial advice across investments, pensions and protection. You will manage an existing portfolio, identify new opportunities, and drive business development through strong referral networks.
The ideal candidate has about 5 years in wealth management, with QFA and CFP progress desirable, and a solid grasp of markets and regulation.
Key responsibilities include: Build and maintain trusted, long-term client relationships. Understand clients objectives and provide clear, tailored financial advice. Manage and develop an existing client portfolio while identifying new opportunities. Drive business development across investments, pensions, savings and related wealth solutions. Build strong internal and external referral and partnership networks. Manage pipelines, prospects and new business activity effectively. Lead and coordinate colleagues and stakeholders to deliver complex client solutions. Identify opportunities to improve processes, client service and business performance. Make informed, risk-aware decisions with a focus on long-term client and business outcomes. Ensure all activities meet regulatory, risk and compliance requirements.
The ideal candidate will have: Around 5 years experience providing financial or wealth management advice. Strong experience across areas such as investments, pensions and protection. QFA qualification; CFP or progress towards CFP is desirable. Strong knowledge of financial markets, investments and the regulatory environment. Experience managing client investments and developing wealth management relationships. Proven business development and relationship management skills. Excellent communication, influencing and stakeholder management abilities. A proactive, commercially minded and client-focused approach. Strong organisational skills and a commitment to continuous professional development. Confidence using digital tools and adapting to new technologies and processes. The ability to work independently while also leading and collaborating effectively with others. Satisfactory fulfilment of applicable minimum competency requirements. TPBN1_IJ
