Aldi Ireland is hiring a Wave Planner for the Mitchelstown Distribution Centre. The role is 36 hours weekly with additional hours as needed, across two shifts: 4:00-12:00 and 16:00-midnight, five days out of seven.

Replenishment and picking tasks must be released accurately and on time to ensure shipments depart as scheduled. Responsibilities include coordinating stock flow, wave releases, pre-wave checks, and monitoring live operations to maintain timely distribution.

Qualifications

• Flexibility to work morning and evening shifts.
• Strong IT skills, including basic Excel formulas.
• Warehouse experience and knowledge of Manhattan Warehouse Management System are advantageous but not essential.
• High attention to detail, reliable and able to work well under pressure.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

• Organise and monitor stock flow across the distribution centre.
• Plan, check and release waves accurately using predefined templates.
• Complete all required pre-wave checks.
• Monitor wave activity and respond promptly to live operational requirements.

We currently have an opportunity for a Wave Planner at our Mitchelstown Distribution Centre, working 36 hours per week plus additional hours as required to meet the needs of the role.

We currently have an opportunity for a Wave Planner at our Mitchelstown Distribution Centre, working 36 hours per week plus additional hours as required to meet the needs of the role.

This role operates across two shifts: 4:00am-12:00pm and 4:00pm-midnight, working five days out of seven, including some weekends. Candidates must be flexible to work across both shift patterns.

As a Wave Planner, you will ensure that replenishment and picking tasks are released accurately and on time. This helps ensure that shipments are complete and ready to leave the distribution centre by the scheduled transport departure time.

Our Benefits

• Competitive pay, with increases linked to your length of service with Aldi. The hourly rate for this position ranges from €15.40 to €17.90 for daytime hours, with an additional premium of €2.30 per hour for hours worked on the night shift from 8pm - 6am
