Job summary

Glanua Limited in Cork City, Ireland, is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to join a one-team culture and deliver design outputs for water and wastewater projects under the guidance of the Senior/Lead Mechanical Design Engineer.

You will contribute to site surveys, optioneering, feasibility studies, detailed design and procurement, and you will liaise with Electrical and Civil & Structural Designers while developing technical knowledge networks.

Qualifications

• Experience with mechanical design for water/wastewater plants.
• Knowledge of CDM Regulations and H&S in design.
• Strong cross-disciplinary communication and collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Produce design deliverables for water and wastewater plants.
• Support site surveys, optioneering and feasibility studies.
• Coordinate with Electrical, Civil & Structural Designers.
• Prepare procurement specs and detailed construction drawings.
• Assist project delivery and liaise with suppliers.
