Job summary

Veolia Ireland is seeking a Construction Site Manager for on-site role in Ballyboden, Dublin. The position covers 12 months as a specified purpose contract, with a 7:30am–4:30pm, Monday–Friday schedule.

You will lead the construction team and subcontractors, prioritizing health and safety and coordinating with Veolia Design and Project Management teams and clients. You will manage day-to-day site operations, ensure QA/QC, review RAMS and utility plans, and drive progress reporting.

Qualifications

• Civil or trade background with progression to management.
• 10 years' multi-discipline site experience, preferably water or wastewater.
• Up to 10 years' site management in water/wastewater projects.
• Full clean driving licence.
• IOSH SHE for Construction Site Managers or similar preferred.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain H&S file on site.
• Plan project with Project Manager to meet requirements and safety proposals.
• Promote highest standards of health, safety, quality, and environmental management.
• Manage site operations and supervise subcontractors under Veolia standards.
• Review RAMS, Lift Plans, and safety procedures with subcontractors.
