Job summary

Veolia is seeking a Construction Site Manager for an on-site role in Ballyboden, Dublin. You will lead the construction team and subcontractors on water/wastewater projects, with a strong focus on health and safety and meeting programme requirements.

The role covers coordinating with Veolia Design and Project Management Teams, client, contractors, and suppliers, ensuring quality, environmental, and safety standards are maintained throughout the works.

Qualifications

• Civil or trade background with progression to management level.
• 10 years’ multi-discipline site-based experience ideally in water/waste water.
• Full clean driving licence.
• Excellent oral and written reporting skills.
• Good communication skills; computer literacy with Google Sheets/Docs is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain H&S file on site.
• Plan project effectively with the Project Manager to meet requirements and programme.
• Promote and maintain high standards of safety, quality and environment.
• Manage site team and subcontractors per Veolia standards.
• Identify and report unsafe acts and incidents; update AVA as required.
