Job summary

STRIVE Search is seeking a Civil Project Engineer to join a water treatment project in Limerick, Ireland. You will support delivery of civil works, ensuring safety, programme and budget compliance, drawing on at least 3 years of experience in water infrastructure.

You'll work with Project Manager and teams to coordinate site operations, maintain quality records, and mentor junior staff while contributing to continuous improvement on site health, safety and environmental practices.

Qualifications

• Degree in Civil Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in a Civil Engineer or Project Engineer role; water sector experience advantageous.
• Experience with GPS, total stations, CAD and field surveying methods.

Responsibilities

• Support delivery of civil engineering works on water and wastewater projects.
• Coordinate with Project Manager and team to meet programme, budget and quality targets.
• Assist day-to-day site operations and cover for the Project Manager when required.
• Ensure compliance with HSQE standards and maintain project records and reports.
• Review drawings and documentation; resolve design-related issues.
• Assist procurement activities and liaise with consultants and subcontractors.
• Contribute to safety files and handover documentation; mentor junior staff.
