Job summary

Stantec Consulting International Ltd. is seeking a Project Engineer to design and deliver water network infrastructure from concept to construction in Ireland.

You will develop detailed designs for water networks, pumping stations, and related infrastructure, and prepare feasibility studies, specifications and tender documents. You will lead technical work, coordinate deliverables with clients and contractors, mentor junior team members, and ensure successful project outcomes across Ireland.

Qualifications

• A Level 8 (or higher) qualification in Civil Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
• Strong post-graduate experience in the design and delivery of water network infrastructure projects.
• Excellent technical knowledge and experience using relevant engineering design software.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities while delivering high-quality work to deadlines.
• Collaborative mindset with the ability to work independently when required.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality engineering solutions for water network infrastructure projects.
• Prepare technical reports, feasibility studies, specifications, and contract documentation.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, clients, contractors, and key stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance throughout all stages of project delivery.
• Support the development and mentoring of junior engineers within the team.
• Contribute to the successful delivery of projects that improve critical water infrastructure across Ireland.
