Job summary

Indaver Ireland & UK MSW is seeking a Transfer Station Operative in Dublin Port. You will accept deliveries, store and process materials, log entries in the system within 24 hours, and assist with loading for off-site transfer.

Responsibilities include safety, yard maintenance, and participation in drills. 1–2 years’ experience in waste/warehousing plus a forklift licence are preferred.

Qualifications

• Leaving cert or equivalent is required
• 1-2 years experience in waste/production/warehousing
• A forklift licence and computer skills are required
• Knowledge in DGSA, ADR/IMDG, SAP is advantageous
• Ability to work on your own initiative or as part of a team
• Good verbal and written communication with attention to detail

Responsibilities

• Accept deliveries and ensure proper storage and processing
• Record deliveries into Indaver’s computer system within 24 hours
• Sample, load and unload material for the Recovery Facility
• Ensure containers are loaded correctly and paperwork is signed off
• Maintain a clean yard and ensure equipment is maintained
• Participate in response drills and on-site activities
