Warehouse Technician - Pharmaceuticals - County Sligo - 12-Month Contract

Located on the picturesque west coast of Ireland, our global pharmaceutical client is looking for a Warehouse Technician to join their state-of-the-art pharmaceutical facility.

Located in the historic province of Connacht, neighboring the Atlantic Ocean, this area blends Irish culture with modern amenities in a seaside town full of bars, restaurants, and water sports.

Responsibilities
  • Good organizational skills
  • Ability to make decisions and work on own initiative
  • Flexible and adaptable to change

  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Assist AbbVie in achieving environmental, health, and safety goals by working safely and observing all safety policies
  • Ensure accurate receipt of materials in a timely manner
  • Ensure materials are accurately located and controlled physically and on SAP
  • Issue materials to manufacturing and packaging
  • Ship product and non-inventory items according to SOPs
  • Complete area verification in accordance with SOPs and cGMPs (e.g., returns, staging, fixed bins)
  • Perform duties according to departmental SOPs and cGMPs
  • Complete and stay current with all required cGMP and safety training
Qualifications
  • Leaving Certificate or equivalent
  • 3+ years industry experience in a warehouse environment, pharma/regulated experience preferred
  • High safety standards in a GMP environment
  • Proficient in Outlook, Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Excellent relationship-building skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and oral, with ability to articulate quality requirements clearly
  • Excellent planning and organizational skills
  • Strong decision-making abilities to identify issues and provide solutions
