Job summary

Supermac's is seeking a Warehouse Operator at our Head Office in Ballybrit Business Park, Galway. In a full-time role, you will support the central distribution team, handling goods from supplier arrival to delivery to our restaurants, with emphasis on accuracy, safety and efficiency in the freezer area.

You will work Monday to Friday, with Saturday shifts when Monday is a bank holiday; a forklift licence is highly desirable.

Qualifications

• Team player with good communication in English.
• Reliable, safety-conscious, and physically fit to work in a cold environment.
• Forklift licence and experience desirable.
• Availability to work Monday–Friday and Saturdays when Monday is a Bank Holiday.
• Not suitable for students.

Responsibilities

• Pick items and assemble pallets for delivery to stores.
• Check in goods, ensuring accuracy and reporting any missing or damaged stock.
• Unload goods using manual handling, trolleys, or forklift trucks.
• Safely stack goods in the correct storage areas.
• Complete and manage documentation related to stock movement.
• Prepare, check, and pack goods for dispatch to restaurants.
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment ("clean as you go"), keeping areas free from debris and waste.
• Report all damages or discrepancies to the Supervisor immediately.
• Wear and maintain the provided PPE at all times.

TITLE: Warehouse Operator

REPORTS TO: Warehouse Manager

Candidates must already be based in Ireland, preferably in Galway, to be considered for an interview.

Please note that this position does not offer visa sponsorship and requires full-time availability.

Job Purpose

Based at our Head Office in Ballybrit Business Park, Ballybrit, Galway, our central distribution team is responsible for handling all goods from the time they arrive from suppliers until they are delivered to our restaurants. As a full-time warehouse operator, you will play a key role in ensuring the accurate, safe, and efficient movement of goods within the freezer area. While the main duties are listed below, additional responsibilities may be assigned as required.
