Job summary

Dexcom Ireland is seeking a Warehouse Operative (Material Handler 2) to support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. Start date is November 2026, with shifts Monday to Wednesday plus alternate Thursdays (12-hour shifts, 7am–7pm), 4 days on/3 off, followed by 3 on/4 off.

You will perform receiving, shipping, inventory control, and manufacturing support, operate forklifts and ERP/WMS systems, and help with improvements and training to teammates.

Qualifications

• 2–4 years experience in a warehouse or material handling role.
• Experience using ERP or WMS systems.
• Experience operating electric-powered material handling equipment.
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to obtain forklift certification.
• Strong communication, maths, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Carry out receiving, shipping, inventory control, and manufacturing support.
• Operate pallet trucks, reach trucks, and forklifts.
• Complete ERP/WMS transactions including shipping, receiving, and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve basic inventory, shipping, and receiving issues.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including international shipments.
• Use Excel for tracking and reporting.
• Support process improvements and lead daily team check-ins.
• Train and support new employees.
• Assist with task prioritisation and workload planning.

As a Warehouse Operative (Known internally as Material Handler 2), you’ll support daily warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment, ensuring materials move safely, accurately, and on time. This role is ideal for someone with solid warehouse experience who’s ready to take on more responsibility, support teammates, and contribute to continuous improvement.

What You’ll Do

• Carry out receiving, shipping, inventory control, and manufacturing support activities
• Operate material handling equipment such as pallet trucks, reach trucks, and forklifts
• Complete ERP/WMS transactions including shipping, receiving, and cycle counts
• Investigate and resolve basic inventory, shipping, and receiving issues
• Coordinate inbound and outbound freight, including international shipments
• Use basic to intermediate Excel skills for tracking and reporting
• Support process improvements and help lead daily team check-ins
• Train and support new employees
• Assist with task prioritisation and workload planning

What You Bring

• 2-4 years experience in a warehouse or material handling role
• Experience using ERP or WMS systems
• Experience operating electric-powered material handling equipment
• Good computer skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office
• Ability to obtain forklift certification
• Strong communication, maths, and problem-solving skills

The hourly base salary for this position is €15.84 gross. Any eligible overtime pay or shift premium is not represented in this amount.
