Job summary
Avolon, a leading global aviation finance company, seeks a VP Technical – Asset Management to oversee technical integrity of all on-lease aircraft. You will lead cross-functional collaboration with Transaction Structuring, Origination, Risk and Lease Management teams, manage lessee technical relationships, and drive data-driven insights for decision-making.
Ideal candidates bring an Engineering Honours Degree or AMEL license, 5+ years in airline/MRO/leasing in a technical role, and strong
Qualifications
- Engineering honours degree or AMEL license with aerospace industry experience.
- Minimum five years in airline, MRO or leasing in a technical function.
- Strong understanding of aircraft records and lease covenants.
Responsibilities
- Provide technical oversight of all on-lease assets within the portfolio.
- Coordinate with Transaction Structuring, Origination, Risk and Lease Management teams.
- Manage lessee technical relationships and assess maintenance reimbursements and compliance.
- Review and maintain aircraft records to Avolon standards.
- Support due diligence and specification reviews for trading activities.
- Coordinate on-lease inspection programmes and external stakeholders.
