Job summary

Bestseller Retail Ireland Limited is seeking a retail sales assistant for the Vila store at Mahon Point Cork. The role is fully flexible, part time, and requires 8 hours per week with midweek flexibility.

You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find products and providing excellent service. Responsibilities include greeting customers, processing payments, balancing cash, handling refunds, and keeping the store presentable.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join the team. This position will require the successful candidate to be flexible for midweek work.

Job description: Fully Flexible - Part Time

• This role is a customer service based role - the main objective is the provide exceptional service at all times
• Greeting customers who enter the shop
• Assisting shoppers to find the goods and products they are looking for
• Being responsible for processing cash and card payments
• Answering queries from customers
• Giving advice and guidance on product selection to customers
• Balancing cash registers with receipts
• Dealing with customer refunds
• Keeping the store tidy and clean, this includes hovering and mopping
• Interest in social media channels
• Responsible dealing with customer complaints
• Receiving and storing the delivery of large amounts of stock
• Keeping up to date with special promotions and putting up displays
