Responsibilities
The Fleet Project Engineer will report to the Fleet Engineer Manager, working in the Fleet Engineering department. They will work in collaboration with other Fleet Engineers in the team who are involved in similar VIE oriented projects focused on energy consumption reduction and key cost saving for the company.
The Fleet Project Engineer will liaise with Fleet Maintenance Production (Depot manager, planner, MTM, technicians) for improvement of working methods or technical systems on trams (trials or fleet deployment). They will be responsible for project management of all jobs assigned to them and will work closely with suppliers of tram components, services and tools. They will also prepare any documentation that needs to be sent to our client TII (the PTA for LUAS) or the safety authority (CRR).

Those projects may change because of priorities management or client requirements. The Project Fleet Engineer could also participate in other activities inside the Fleet Engineering department depending on the project’s main responsibilities for this role.
