Job summary

Citco is seeking a VP Real Estate Fund Accounting in Dublin to lead complex fund accounting for real estate assets. You will oversee preparation and review of financial data, monitor client deliverables, and ensure accuracy across ledgers and financial statements.

You will collaborate with auditors, legal counsel, and internal teams, manage full-cycle accounting processes, and drive process improvements. A degree in business or finance with 8-10+ years in real estate accounting and professional

Qualifications

• Degree in business or finance-related field and professional accounting designation in progress or completed.
• 8-10+ years of real estate accounting experience in public or private sectors.
• Experience reviewing ledgers and preparing financial statements.
• Knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP; consolidation experience.
• Strong communication skills in English; able to meet deadlines and work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and review financial data and client deliverables with timely accuracy.
• Review partnership agreements, PPMs, and related materials.
• Implement fund structures onto the accounting system.
• Monitor compliance with SLAs and client agreements.
• Train and support team members in development.

As a core member of our Fund Accounting team, you will be working with some of the industry’s most accomplished professionals to deliver award-winning services for complex fund structures that our clients can depend upon.

Responsibilities

Your Role:

• Prepare financial data analysis and monitor the timing and quality of client deliverables.
• You will review Real Estate fund client’s partnership agreements, PPM’s and other materials.
• Participate in the implementation of fund structures onto the accounting system.
• Monitor compliance of various agreements with clients, including the Service Level Agreement.
• You will train and support team members in their development
• You will operate as a contact point for clients; able to respond to and resolve queries or elevate where necessary.
• You will act as a liaison with various internal /external parties – i.e. auditors, legal counsel. And assist in client audit procedures.
• Process wire transfer payments on behalf of clients, prepare and analyze complex Excel spreadsheets.
• You will liaise with property management companies with focus on accounting & analysis.
• You will maintain and control the general ledger and various sub-ledgers in addition to preparing financial statements, footnotes, and partner capital statements.
• Preparation of limited partner and general partner allocations, trial balances, and work paper product.
• You will process standard and complex bookkeeping entries.
• You will be involved within a full scope of transaction activities including full cycle accounting.

Qualifications

About You:

• You have a degree in Business or Finance related area.
• You are designated accountant or working towards ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CPA designation.
• You have 8-10+ years of public/private real estate accounting work experience.
• You have experience in reviewing and preparing general ledgers and financial statements.
• You have knowledge of IFRS and US GAAP & consolidation of accounts.
• You are excellent communication skills and proficiency in English (both verbal and written).
• You are motivated, bright and diligent individual who is driven to meet deadlines.
• You are a team player who is able to manage individual responsibilities.
• You sound judgment, problem solving and analytical skills.
• You are advanced level MS Excel, Proficient with MS Word, MS PowerPoint.
• You have knowledge of MRI, Yardi, or Investran (a plus).
• You have experience in Limited Partnership accounting (a plus).
• You have private equity/real estate fund administration experience (a plus).
• You are familiar with tax-efficient European structures and related investment vehicles and regulatory requirements (a plus).
