Job summary

Citco is seeking a senior PE accounting leader in Ireland to guide a dedicated team of managers, supervisors and specialists. You will oversee client relationships, ensure timely deliverables, and mentor staff on fund accounting processes.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice.
  • 5+ years’ experience in Private Equity (Desirable).
  • Strong communication and written skills.
  • Ability to handle several deliverables and stakeholders simultaneously, prioritizing by deadlines.
  • Strong customer relationship skills.
  • Knowledge of the financial services industry and its products and practices.
  • Proven Fund Accounting system, Microsoft Word/Excel, and PowerPoint skills.

About the Team & Business Line:

Alternative Asset Fund Administration is Citco’s core business, and our Private Equity division is a major part of that. Citco have one of, if not the largest footprint of staff in Ireland within the Private Equity Administration sector. Responsibilities
Your role is to:
  • Lead a PE accounting team of managers, supervisors and accounting specialists
  • Empower your team with regular engagement and leadership
  • Manage the client relationship(s) for your group of clients/funds
  • Co-ordinate, manage and monitor client deliverables (SLAs) with your team and the client
  • Mentor your team as Subject Matter Expert (SME) on client structures and accounting processes
  • Ensure team perform duties in line with relevant processes and procedures
  • Review periodic accounting reporting packs prepared by your team
  • Engage in and drive efficiency projects
  • Participate in marketing and sales pitches; effectively demonstrate and communicate Citco’s workflows, best practices and technologies
  • Draft performance procedures and/or operational memoranda
  • Act as liaison to various internal/external stakeholders
Qualifications
About You:
  • You have 7+ years’ experience in accounting operations or practice
  • You have 5+ years’ experience in Private Equity (Desirable)
  • You are a strong team player who exhibits strong communication and written skills
  • You have the ability to handle several deliverables and different stakeholders simultaneously, and prioritize work based on deadlines
  • You have strong customer relationship skills
  • You must have strong knowledge of the financial services industry, its products and practices, and a strong interest in further development and learning
  • You have proven Fund Accounting system, Microsoft Word and Excel, and PowerPoint skills
  • You are degree Qualified (2.1 and above) in Finance or Accounting related degree (desirable)
