A progressive small animal veterinary practice in Dundalk, Co. Louth, is seeking a passionate and skilled Veterinary Surgeon to join their dynamic team. The Role

  • Position: Small Animal Veterinary Surgeon
  • Contract:Full-time, Permanent
  • Working Hours: 40 hours per week (5 days)
  • Shift Hours: 8:30 AM - 6:30 PM
  • Salary:40,000 - 45,000 per annum
  • Additional Benefits: No out-of-hours (OOH), Sundays, or Bank Holidays

Key Duties & Responsibilities

  • Conducting clinical consultations within a first opinion practice setting.
  • Carrying out clinical procedures and routine diagnostics (x-rays, ear examinations, medical case workups, etc.).
  • All eligible candidates must be registered with the Veterinary Council of Ireland.
  • At least 12 months of experience in first opinion practice is preferable.
  • New graduates who are confident in basic surgical procedures are encouraged to apply.
  • Must be an organized individual with excellent communication skills.
  • Must be a team player who can collaborate effectively within a professional veterinary team.
