Job summary

EY is recruiting a Cloud Solution Architect in Dublin 2 to guide clients through complex cloud decisions, shaping target architectures and delivery roadmaps across Microsoft Azure, AWS and Google Cloud. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, influence engagements from strategy to delivery and help grow the Microsoft Services and Cloud Group.

The role requires strong cloud architecture and technology consulting capabilities, with a focus on security, resilience, automation and AI governance.

The opportunity

Help organisations turn cloud ambition into secure, practical change. As a Cloud Architecture Manager in our Technology Consulting team, you will guide clients through complex technology decisions and help shape solutions that support growth, resilience and responsible innovation. You will work with senior stakeholders, lead multidisciplinary teams and influence engagements from initial strategy through delivery. You will also help grow our Microsoft Services and Cloud Group, strengthen client relationships and contribute to a collaborative culture where your ideas can make a visible impact.

Your key responsibilities

Leading client conversations and workshops to turn business priorities into clear cloud strategies, target architectures, operating models and investment roadmaps.

Designing and overseeing secure, resilient cloud and hybrid solutions across Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud, including identity, networking, automation and migration.

Shaping the responsible use of artificial intelligence by addressing use cases, data readiness, governance, security, risk and adoption.

Managing complex engagements from strategy through implementation, while balancing scope, quality, commercial outcomes, risks and dependencies.

Building trusted relationships with senior business and technology stakeholders and communicating options in a clear, decision-ready way.

Coaching multidisciplinary teams and contributing to proposals, presentations, account planning and the continued growth of our cloud practice.

Skills and attributes for Success

You will bring strong cloud architecture and technology consulting capability, with experience guiding complex change from strategy into implementation. You can structure problems, discover requirements, facilitate workshops and create clear recommendations for senior audiences. You understand modern cloud foundations, including secure landing zones, identity, networking, resilience, migration, automation and delivery practices. You can also connect artificial intelligence opportunities with suitable data, governance, security and responsible-use controls. Commercial awareness, sound judgement and the ability to lead several priorities without losing focus on quality will help you succeed.

Ideally, You’ll also have

Experience with agile delivery approaches, the software development lifecycle, infrastructure as code and automated delivery tools would be valuable. Relevant cloud or enterprise architecture certifications, together with experience of Microsoft Azure, Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud, Terraform, Bicep, PowerShell or Python, would also support your impact in the role.
