Job summary

Mercury is seeking a Turnover Manager in Limerick, Ireland to lead project turnover and handover activities from construction to client or operations teams. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage completions, and ensure quality, regulatory, and contractual requirements are met prior to handover.

The role requires a degree in engineering or related discipline and proven turnover experience. Strong stakeholder management, documentation control, and analytics are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or diploma in Engineering, Construction Management, Project Management, or a related discipline.
• Proven experience in turnover, completions, commissioning, project closeout, or construction project delivery.
• Strong understanding of system completions, turnover processes, and project lifecycle requirements.
• Experience managing turnover documentation and document control systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills with the ability to coordinate multidisciplinary teams and client representatives.
• Strong organisational, planning, and reporting capabilities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver to demanding project schedules.
• Knowledge of quality assurance, regulatory compliance, and contractual handover requirements.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project/document management software.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, execution, and management of turnover activities.
• Coordinate turnover requirements between construction, engineering, quality, QC, and client stakeholders.
• Manage system completions, punch list closure, and turnover readiness processes.
• Prepare, review, and submit turnover documentation (as-built drawings, quality records, certifications, O&M manuals).
• Monitor turnover schedules and milestones to ensure timely delivery.
• Track turnover progress, risks, and challenges to project leadership and clients.
• Facilitate client inspections, acceptance, and final handover activities.
• Ensure compliance with project specs, contractual obligations, and quality standards.
• Support closeout activities and transfer of assets to operations.

Scope Of The Role

The Turnover Manager is responsible for leading and managing all project turnover and handover activities, ensuring the successful transition of completed systems, assets, and documentation from construction to the client or operations team. The role coordinates cross-functional teams, oversees completions processes, manages turnover documentation, and ensures all contractual, quality, and regulatory requirements are achieved prior to handover.

• Experience working in an international project delivery environment.
