Job summary

KCC Group is seeking a Truck Driver for our Leinster operations. You will drive within Leinster with occasional country trips, maintain detailed logs, plan routes, and ensure loads are accurate while interacting professionally with customers.

The role requires a full and clean driving license with a C1 category/CPC, strong communication and organizational skills, and is supported by a company pension. Training modules can be completed while employed.

Qualifications

• Full and clean driving license is essential.
• C1 Category Truck License/CPC required; modules can be completed during employment.
• Good communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Driving in the general Leinster Area, with the occasional country trip
• Obeying and following applicable traffic laws
• Maintaining a detailed log of working hours in compliance with regulations
• Ensuring any mechanical issues with the vehicle are corrected before driving
• Planning routes and meeting delivery schedules
• Complying with truck driving rules and regulations
• Reporting defects, accidents and violations
• Loading and unloading box trucks with forklifts
• Interacting with customers in a professional manner
• Verifying loads for accuracy- signed documents returned
• General light duties in our fabrication shop if/when required
