Job description

I am looking to assist my Asset Management client with the hiring of a Treasury & Operations Associate to join their Operations team.

The role will have a particular focus on treasury, banking, liquidity management and trading line oversight, while working closely with teams across Operations, Tax, Legal, Compliance and Technology.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and develop the firm's treasury platform, including vendor management, troubleshooting and process automation.
• Oversee bank and custody account openings, closures and ongoing maintenance.
• Manage cash balances, liquidity, bank interest and funding requirements.
• Support new entity setup and maintain accurate treasury static data.
• Establish and maintain trading lines across derivatives, repo and FX products.
• Manage daily margin calls and investigate discrepancies.
• Maintain counterparty, regulatory and fund information.
• Ensure the accuracy of fund cash balances used in NAV calculations.
• Identify opportunities to improve processes and automation across the Operations function.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders and third-party service providers.

Experience Required

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or a related discipline.
• Ideally 5-10 years experience
• Experience in Treasury within a buy-side, asset management or financial services environment.
• Strong Excel skills and experience with treasury platforms and/or SWIFT.
• Knowledge of fixed income products would be advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail, communication and organisational skills.
• A proactive, process-improvement mindset with the ability to work cross-functionally.
