Job Description:
Job Purpose / Role

The principal objective of the role is to assist in the effective and efficient running of Treasury operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for processing cheque and EFT payments and dealing with customers in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities
  • Performing bank downloads for all bank accounts daily
  • Processing claims recoveries
  • Reconciliation and processing of stale cheque payments
  • Reconciliation and processing of bank charges
  • Matching of outgoing payments to third parties in I90
  • Processing manual EFT payments
  • Daily release of cheques for printing
Customer Focus
  • Managing the treasury mailbox – processing and responding to queries from around the business
  • Communicating in a timely manner with both internal and external customers
  • Providing support and backup for other Treasury roles
  • Supporting innovation and continuous improvement of processes
Key Requirements / Skills & Experience
  • Third level qualification containing core elements of Business and/or Finance
  • Intermediate MS Excel skills and demonstrable numerical competence
  • Background in Finance Administration preferably in a Financial Services environment (12 months minimum)
  • Experience with AS400 / I90
