Job summary

American International Group, Inc. (AIG) in Dublin is seeking a Global Bank Administration specialist to manage bank accounts, including opening/closing operations, signatories, and service setups (MT101, Swift).

You will collaborate with a small team to ensure compliance with AIG’s bank account policies. Requirements include 2+ years in treasury/bank administration within a corporate or financial institution, native English proficiency, and strong Excel and PowerPoint skills for reporting to

Qualifications

  • 2+ years experience in Treasury/Bank Administration within corporate or financial institutions.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.
  • Experience with Swift messaging MT101/MT940/MT950.

Responsibilities

  • Open/close operating, custody and virtual accounts; manage signatories.
  • Set up/amend services on accounts (MT101, Swift reporting).
  • Handle ad-hoc banking requests from AIG business units.
  • Maintain Core data in Kyriba TMS and ensure data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with a small team (4–5) and independently manage items.

Corporate operations provide a wide range of services to the organization such as finance, internal audit, communications, security and human resources. Treasury sits within the finance area. The Dublin Treasury team consists of GCM Operations, Cash Management, Payment Operations, Bank Administration and other areas including Risk & Compliance.

About the role
What you need to know:
  • This role will be responsible for a number of areas within the Global Bank Administration team, including opening and closing operating, custody and virtual accounts, managing signatories on accounts, setting up and amending services on accounts (e.g. MT101, Swift reporting), dealing with ad-hoc requests from various AIG business Units.
  • The team's key stakeholders are AIG's business units and AIG's banking partners
  • A key aspect of the role is ensuring compliance by the business units with AIG's Global Bank Account policies and procedures
  • Assisting and taking ownership of banking related aspects in support of AIG's strategic initiatives.
  • As a member of the Global Bank Administration team, take responsibility for the management and maintenance of Core data stored on the Kyriba TMS (Treasury Management System).
  • The role will involve a combination of teamwork and close collaboration with a small team of 4-5, and independent management of items
What we’re looking for:
  • 2+ years of experience in a Corporate or Financial institution Treasury/Cash Management/Bank Administration environment or similar
  • Understanding of constitutive and other Bank Administration documents including Board Resolutions/Certificate of Incorporation/Trade Register/Account opening forms/Bank Signatory forms
  • Familiarity with payments and reporting such as Swift messaging types and formats, including MT101/MT940/MT950
  • Experience of responding to KYC/AML/Sanctions requests from banks
  • Must be fluent to a native level in written and spoken English
  • Proven ability to multi-task, and independently and effectively manage and prioritize a varied workload
  • Demonstrated awareness of the importance of controls and risks, including ideally experience of responding to SOX audit requests
  • Ability to investigate, troubleshoot and resolve items to completion without close oversight
  • Must be able to clearly and concisely communicate information to stakeholders as needed, including to Senior Management, in both written and verbal format
  • Excellent attention to detail is a must, as is a questioning mindset and a drive to understand and improve processes
  • Strong Excel and Powerpoint skills desirable
Work Shift:
  • 08.30 to 17.00 Irish Standard Time (IST)
