Job summary

The National Treasury Management Agency (NTMA) in Ireland is seeking a Treasury Accountant to join the Treasury Reporting team on a 23-month fixed-term contract. The role involves preparing financial reporting for the National Debt of Ireland and related funds, and supporting internal and external audits.

You will contribute to reporting process improvements, maintain robust financial controls and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Three-level degree (or equivalent) in Finance, Accountancy, Business or related discipline.
• Completed professional accountancy qualification (e.g. ACA, CIMA or ACCA).
• Very good IT competency (MS Office & Excel).

Responsibilities

• Monthly management reporting and reconciliations for the National Debt of Ireland and related accounts.
• Preparation of annual financial statements for the National Debt of Ireland, POSB, DAF and SIF (Investment Portfolio).
• Contribute to development and maintenance of reporting processes, policies and controls.
