Job summary

The International Organization for Migration (IOM) in Ireland seeks a trainer to deliver Trauma-Informed Practice training to accommodation centre staff supporting International Protection Applicants. You will develop and facilitate programs, assessments and materials in collaboration with the MHPSS Unit.

The role requires experience in trauma-informed care, psychosocial support and working in multicultural settings, with the ability to coordinate with partners and NGOs in Ireland.

Qualifications

• Experience designing, facilitating, and evaluating training programmes.
• Experience providing psychosocial support, safeguarding, or wellbeing-focused services.
• Experience collaborating with statutory, community, and non-governmental organisations in Ireland.
• Strong understanding of international protection, displacement, integration, safeguarding, and trauma-informed practice.
• Experience working in a multi-cultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver Trauma-Informed Practice training to accommodation centre staff and other personnel.
• Develop and evaluate training materials and sessions in collaboration with the MHPSS Unit.
• Coordinate with government and NGO partners to ensure alignment with standards.
• Support the psychosocial well-being and resilience of programme beneficiaries.
