Qualifications

  • Member of a relevant professional organisation (e.g., IHT, ILT, TPS or ICE), ideally chartered or TPP.

Join us to shape the future of transport in Ireland. We’re looking for a Chartered Transport Planning Lead to drive strategy, delivery and growth across our transport planning and modelling portfolio.

Based in Dublin you will lead high‑impact projects, inspire multidisciplinary teams and build lasting client relationships across Ireland and the UK.

What will you contribute

Reporting to our regional Transport Planning Practice Lead, you will operate with a high degree of autonomy and be both commercially and technically responsible for managing client relationships, winning new work and delivering on time and within budget with multidisciplinary design teams. You will assist in business planning, team development and contribute domain expertise to design preparation, assurance, budget control and project delivery. Line management, motivation, development and performance of direct reports and junior staff are integral to the role.

Candidate specification
  • Degree in a related discipline (or equivalent)
  • MSc or further qualifications in transport planning or economics are a benefit but not essential
  • Member of a relevant professional organisation (e.g., IHT, ILT, TPS or ICE), ideally a chartered professional or TPP
  • Demonstrable senior skills in planning for major infrastructure projects, demand modelling/forecasting, transport business cases, wider transport economics, policy and strategy
  • Professional, strong communication skills with clients and colleagues, and good report‑writing abilities
Required competencies and skills
  • Strong portfolio of transport planning work and proven track record of winning work
  • Proficiency in transport modelling and data analysis tools
  • Experience leading multi‑disciplinary transport strategies, feasibility studies and business cases
  • Develop and maintain strong client relationships to secure repeat business
