Sysco Ireland is seeking a Transport Analyst at our Dublin Distribution Centre to analyse transport and logistics data, improve efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decisions. You will build performance dashboards, develop KPIs, forecast trends, and provide actionable insights to optimise transport operations while ensuring compliance with regulations.

The role requires strong data analysis, advanced Excel, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to operational teams.

Qualificações

• 2-5 years' experience in transport, logistics, supply chain, or data analysis.

Summary:

The Transport Analyst is responsible for analysing transport, logistics data to improve operational efficiency, reduce costs, enhance service performance, and support strategic decision-making. The role involves data modelling, performance monitoring, forecasting, and providing actionable insights to optimise transport operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, clean, and analyse transport and logistics data (e.g., routes, delivery times, route volume).
• Develop and maintain performance dashboards and KPIs.
• Produce regular and ad-hoc performance reports.
• Identify trends, inefficiencies, and cost-saving opportunities.
• Evaluate route performance and recommend improvements.
• Support fleet optimisation and asset utilisation analysis.
• Assess service reliability and punctuality performance.
• Recommend improvements to scheduling and planning processes.
• Provide analytical support to transport manager and operational teams.
• Monitor compliance with transport regulations and standards.
• Accuracy and timeliness of reports.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years' experience in transport, logistics, supply chain, or data analysis role.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Advanced Excel skills.
