Tasks

• Translation and cultural adaptation of game texts from English to Korean (character dialogues, narrative, menu texts, descriptions of elements and functions)
• Meeting requirements for translation quality, speed, and deadlines
• Post-editing machine translation
• Interaction with editors, development teams, and other translators in the department
• Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation for the assigned project (at least for 1 project): glossary in memoQ, articles and style guides in the Knowledge Base
• Handling feedback on the quality of translations

Requirements

• Native fluency in Korean, both written and spoken
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• A background in linguistics, translation, and/or localization is preferred
• Gaming experience and interest in mobile technology
• Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
• Critical thinking, creativity, commitment to quality
