We are currently seeking a dynamic Translator with native fluency in Korean and excellent command of English based in Ireland. By joining us, you'll have the opportunity to translate mobile games and game-related content for players of games enjoyed by millions of people worldwide.

Tasks

1. Translation and cultural adaptation of game texts from English to Korean (character dialogues, narrative, menu texts, descriptions of elements and functions)
2. Meeting requirements for translation quality, speed, and deadlines
3. Post-editing machine translation
4. Interaction with editors, development teams, and other translators in the department
5. Creating and maintaining up-to-date documentation for the assigned project (at least for 1 project): glossary in memoQ, articles and style guides in the Knowledge Base
6. Handling feedback on the quality of translations

Requirements

1. Native fluency in Korean, both written and spoken
2. Fluency in English, both written and spoken
3. A background in linguistics, translation, and/or localization is preferred
4. Gaming experience and interest in mobile technology
5. Excellent writing skills and attention to detail
6. Critical thinking, creativity, commitment to quality
