Clann supports older people to live independently in secure, high-quality homes and thriving communities. The successful candidate will gain valuable experience working with and supporting older residents, helping to deliver services that promote independence, wellbeing, and community engagement.

Applicants could be post graduates from a number of academic routes. Where required, the successful candidates may undertake a small number of top up modules, funded by Clúid, to ensure their knowledge and skills meet PSRA level standards. For applicants without sufficient academic experience, a structured two year distance learning programme, funded by Clúid, will provide the additional learning required to reach PSRA level competence. While the licence itself is not mandatory, the programme ensures all trainees develop the knowledge and skills expected at that professional standard. Additional certification courses will also underpin the students learning.
